George Peabody has a dedicated community of parent volunteers. We have numerous volunteer opportunities both inside and outside the classrooms.

George Peabody couldn’t be the great school it is today without the help of volunteers. The PTA’s volunteer goal is to have each family volunteer at least 5 hours in the Fall and Spring semesters. We encourage extended family members to volunteer too! Please let us know how you’d like to get involved by downloadig and filling out the volunteer form, then return it in your Wednesday Envelope. Even if you only have a few hours to volunteer, it makes a HUGE difference in the lives of our children!  

If you are a non-parent and would like to volunteer, please call our office and ask to speak with Mrs. Wong. You will be referred to the San Francisco School Volunteers or the Jewish Coalition for Literacy which does the mandatory background check and provides orientation classes for the community.
